The short version: we don't sell anything about you.

The 30-second summary: We collect your email, your ZIP, and (optionally) your phone — only so we can send you the weekly digest and (if you opted in) SMS alerts about must-see sales. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. You can unsubscribe in one click.

What we collect

Email address. So we can send you the digest. Required.
ZIP code. So we can sort sales by distance from where you are. Required.
Phone number. Only if you opted in to SMS alerts. Optional.
Basic analytics. Page views, clicks on sale links, open and click rates on the email. Aggregated, not tied to your identity beyond your subscription.

What we do with it

Send you the weekly Wednesday digest.
Send you SMS alerts (only if you opted in).
Decide which metros to expand into next based on where signups come from.
Improve which sales we surface based on which links you click.

What we never do

Sell your email, phone, or any other information to anyone. Ever.
Share your information with operators, affiliates, or advertisers.
Send you anything other than the weekly digest and (if opted in) SMS alerts.
Track you across other websites.

Third parties we use

To run the service, we rely on a few standard tools. Each one only sees the minimum data it needs to do its job:

Netlify — hosts the website and processes signup form submissions.
An email service (currently Mailchimp's free tier or equivalent) — sends the weekly digest. They see your email and ZIP, nothing else.
An SMS provider (only if you opted in to texts) — sends must-see-sale alerts. They see your phone number.

Your rights

Unsubscribe — every email has a one-click link.
Delete — email hello@findersweekly.com and we'll wipe your record within 7 days.
Export — same email, same response time. You can ask for a copy of everything we have on you.

Cookies

We use the bare minimum: a session cookie to make the site work, and (eventually) lightweight analytics. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels for third-party advertisers, no fingerprinting.

Children

Finders Weekly is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe we have, email hello@findersweekly.com and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll email everyone on the list before it takes effect. Versioned at the top.
